Turning natural biomass resources into sustainable products that reach commercial markets.

Evidence changes the next action

AKOS is being built as a governed working environment for bioeconomy product discovery and development—from the first idea to an authorised pilot.

Evidence workspacePrototype excerpt
Verified evidence

Identifiable, approved source or test record.

Calculated estimate

Transparent calculation from stated inputs and assumptions.

Working hypothesis

A proposition that identifies the next test.

Unvalidated assumption

A planning input that has not yet been tested.

Recommendation

An action requiring explicit human consideration.

Evidence gap

Missing information preventing a supported conclusion.

AKOS prototype · internal development view

Science-driven innovation deserves to reach pilot. We leverage our experience to provide bioeconomy innovators the structure, discipline and governance that makes that happen.

Development position

Being tested on real internal projects before public access

Read the development notes
Current focusComplete prototype review across the governed project journey.
First decision functionWill It Fly? is in development and is not yet a public offer.
Testing approachMultiple AgriKinetics projects are being used to expose omissions and weak assumptions.
Publication principleProgress is reported only when the underlying work supports it.

The problem

Good science is not enough on its own

A technically promising product can still stall when the market need is assumed, regulatory work begins too late, experiments lose their context or investment decisions cannot be traced back to evidence.

AKOS is designed to keep those questions connected. It does not replace scientists, commercial leaders, regulators or investors. It gives them a shared, governed record of what is known, what remains uncertain and what should happen next.

The journey

One development record, built progressively

01

Shape the opportunity

Turn an incomplete idea into a clear brief, with assumptions made visible.

02

Test viability

Develop commercial, technical and impact evidence in parallel.

03

Govern experiments

Connect protocols, observations, results and learning to the decisions they inform.

04

Authorise the pilot

Bring due diligence, risks, resources and the pilot plan into a reviewable decision.

Designed for scrutiny

Different people need different answers

The same programme must be intelligible to concept owners, technical teams, end users, regulators, manufacturing partners and capital providers. AKOS is intended to present audience-appropriate views without creating competing versions of the truth.

Every material conclusion should retain its source, confidence, ownership and decision history.

Intended controlled outputs

Useful records for real decisions

Structured opportunity brief

A progressively developed record of the need, product, stakeholders, assumptions and decision criteria.

Dynamic due diligence

Connected commercial, technical and impact positions that distinguish evidence, judgement, uncertainty and required work.

Authorised pilot plan

A reviewable definition of what the pilot must prove, how it will be governed and what evidence will support the next decision.

Development status: these are intended outputs of the platform under development, not a claim that public functionality is currently available.

No theatre

We will show progress as it becomes real

Building AKOS records the reasoning, milestones and lessons without presenting unfinished work as a finished platform.
